This vest is worked on circular needles from lower edge to armhole, where steek stitches are put on threads and the V-neck section is worked-still in the round-by means of decreasing. Like its cousin the Norwegian Luskofte, this garment is recognizable at a distance: nearly always a dropped-shoulder turtleneck, nearly always knitted in natural undyed wool and covered by a small-repeat pattern. Meg varies the traditional style & circular construction slightly. There is a hem at the lower edge instead of ribbing, a modified, slightly inset armhole instead of a dropped-shoulder, a scooped neck and the sleeves are knitted instead of sew in and three different patterns are used instead of one. Written insert included.   60 minutes
