VHS Video with Meg Swansen
Like its cousin the Norwegian
Luskofte, this garment is recognizable at a distance: nearly always a
dropped-shoulder turtleneck, nearly always knitted in natural undyed wool and
covered by a small-repeat pattern. Meg varies the traditional style &
circular construction slightly. There is a hem at the lower edge instead of
ribbing, a modified, slightly inset armhole instead of a dropped-shoulder, a
scooped neck and the sleeves are knitted instead of sew in and three different
patterns are used instead of one. Written insert included. 60
