Mary introduces the viewer to the "incomplete stitch", ways of adding a new yarn, finishing the ends, working circular shapes, and several ways to start you project stitches. An entire section is devoted to the Foundation stitch, a technique used to start a project. Perhaps the most important lesson learned is how to see your patter stitches.
